Rescue Tugs "Pechak" and "Uzon" Prepare for Transition to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for Final Testing

After the successful completion of the acceptance trials conducted by specialists from the World Service Group of Companies, including mooring and sea trials at the Oksky Shipyard, the Arctic rescue tugs of the NE-025 project continue their journey to their permanent bases.

The two tugs, "Uzon" and "Pechak", after arriving in St. Petersburg under their own power, are now preparing to be loaded onto a transport ship for further transport to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, where they will be stationed to perform tasks in the harsh conditions of the Northern Sea Route waters.

The tugs "Timan" and "Tepsey", also built under the NE-025 project, have already passed the final acceptance tests conducted by the customer, the FGBU "MORSPASSLUGA", and will soon begin their tasks in the port of Murmansk.

A total of five Arctic tugs are planned to be built under this project. These tugs will operate in the waters of the Northern Sea Route, ensuring navigational safety and conducting rescue operations in challenging ice conditions.
